Luis leads Rovio’s marketing for mobile games as the VP of Marketing. He is part of Rovio’s extended Leadership Team and leads the group’s games marketing unit (60 people) made up of several teams covering: Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, UX Research, Marketing Creative, Player Support, and Community Management.
Previously I have worked in marketing and product leadership roles across several large gaming companies including Scopely, King, 2K Games / 2K Sports, Electronic Arts, and Gameloft. I have also held CMO and VP Marketing roles for medium size studios such as Genera Games, Outplay Entertainment, and Virtually Live to help them scale and reach their business growth goals.
I also carry out business consulting outside of gaming, focused primarily on consumer led product vision and design. I strongly believe in the importance of bridging marketing with product design, where there is a clear synergy between the customers’ needs and innovative technology.
