Pirjo Sanaksenaho

Pirjo Sanaksenaho was born in 1966 in Turku, Finland. She studied at the Helsinki University of Technology and got architect’s degree in 1993. She has been partner in Sanaksenaho Architects since 1997. She is Associate Professor in Building Design at Department of Architecture of Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture. She has several positions of trust in the field of architecture. She has been Vice Chairman of Architecture Council of Finland and the Arts Council of Helsinki metropolitan region. At the moment she is member of the board of the Finnish Association of Architecture Offices ATL and the chairman of the representatives of the Museum of Finnish Architecture.
