Petra Sundström
Head of Digital Business Development, Sandvik & Chairman of IoT Sweden
Petra Sundström has extensive experience of digitalization and IoT initiatives from leading roles in both industry and academia. As Head of Digital Business at Sandvik, Petra is responsible for leading the development and execution of Product Area Crushing & Screening’s digital agenda, driving the cultural and organizational shift required. Before Sandvik, Petra led similar work at Husqvarna Group. Up to 2014 she conducted research as part of The Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS, today under Rise) in the direction of digitalization and IoT (Internet of Things) and what it was to bring to everyday life. In this direction Petra is today also chairman of the board for IoT Sweden – An Innovation initiative funded by Vinnova and Formas in the direction of what IoT will bring to the public sector in Sweden and Globally.
