David Cowell
Development Director & Exec Lead for Innovation
David joined the Alder Hey Board as Development Director in December 2012 and has over 30 years’ experience working in the NHS. A main part of David’s current role is Project Director for the new Alder Hey in the Park as well as Executive lead for Alder Hey’s innovation programme. Prior to his role at Alder Hey, David held Development Director post in Bristol and London overseeing new hospital programmes.
David’s main schemes include:
- The new Central Middlesex Hospital-£100m
- The Bristol Laboratory/Research complex-£75m
- Bristol Southmead Hospital-£430m
- Alder Hey Children’s Hospital-£200m
