Pia-Maria Thorén is a pioneer in agile HR and people-centric leadership. As the founder of the global Agile People movement and the author of Agile People – A Radical Approach for HR and Managers, she is one of the leading voices reshaping how we think about leadership, motivation, and organizational culture in the modern workplace.

With over a decade of entrepreneurial experience as a coach, keynote speaker, and inspiration director at Agile People, Pia-Maria has worked with leaders and organizations worldwide to promote autonomy, trust, and engagement through agile mindsets and practices. Prior to founding Agile People, she spent three years as a Senior Agile Project Manager at IKEA, where she deepened her expertise in large-scale organizational transformation.
